Support Veterans and Our Military
Our effort to assist our active military families. Those families serve our country, and we serve through our ongoing donations. In addition, the Mary Ellen Robertson Chapter continues to:
- provide service to our local veterans
- participate in Wreaths Across America and flag ceremonies
- attend local commemorative events
- offer school programs to Lake County students
- provide library materials American Merchant Marine Library
- support the Leesburg Civil Air Patrol

The Little Free Library
Headed by Librarian Stephanie Haw, this is a free book-sharing box where anyone can take a book or share a book for all reading levels with emphasis on new readers from childhood through adolescence.
The Library was dedicated Jan 18, 2024 and is located at Morrison United Methodist Church.

Liberty Tree Dedicatied
The Mary Ellen Robertson Chapter planted and dedicated a
Liberty Tree in Leesburg, FL Veterans Park Feb 17, 2025 in tribute to all patriots: past, present and future.
The original Liberty Tree Stood in Boston. In 1765 it was the site of protests against the British government. Patriots often gathered beneath its branches to share their wisdom and support.
Liberty trees began appearing throughout the colonies and became a familiar symbol of freedom.
