The DAR, Mary Ellen Robertson Chapter,     will be presenting a Welcome Home Vietnam Verterans Day on March 30th.  This day is part of a natiional effort to Thank and Honor all Vietnam era Veterans.  The DAR is happy to be a Commemorative Partner of this national effort.

This Commemoration was created by Congress to "Welcome Home" all of our Vietnam era Veterans. Congress authorized the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration in 2008 and the Secretary  of Defense and the President launched the program in 2012. The major objective of this Commemoration is to thank and honor all   of our Vietnam era Veterans.

 Mary Ellen Robertson Chapter members attended the funeral for WW II Staff Sgt Franklin P Hall on Jan 21, 2024 - 80 years to the day his plane was shot down over France. His remains were recently identified through DNA.
